Why Join a Mastermind Group?

Imagine this. You are scrolling Facebook, IG, TikTok, or YouTube. You see an influencer or someone else that is doing something that makes them money and you think "I can do that", so you do a few more scrolls and read a few articles, then that's it. The idea goes away and no action is taken. 'Poof... it was only a thought'

Last week I talked about the importance of having a mentor. This week I am going to continue the thought pattern with the power of joining a mastermind group. There truly is a group of people or a mentor that has experienced nearly everything you may be thinking about doing. There is no real excuse not to go learn more about something from someone who has done it before. I am currently in two mastermind groups and I have had over 10 mentors in my life.

It's no accident that I helped build a $1million business, bought and sold multiple properties, and have mentored over 100 people to help them take steps toward living their perfect day.

So, why should you join a mastermind group?

Reason #1:

Accountability: A mastermind group can provide accountability to you and your thoughts, ensuring that you are following through on your goals and commitments. The group members can hold each other accountable and provide constructive feedback to help each other stay on track.

Let me be clear. I firmly believe every entrepreneur should have a mentor and they should also be in a mastermind or at least attending 2-4 group events per year.

How many professional athletes, actors, or artists do you know that are at the top of their game and do not have a coach, mentor, or group that they lean on to help push them forward?

Why would we, as an everyday person trying to be the best at what we do, try to do it alone?

Knowledge sharing: A mastermind group allows entrepreneurs to learn from others' experiences and expertise. The group members can share their knowledge, resources, and connections, which can help each other make better decisions and avoid common mistakes. Self love and sharing it with others.

I had an amazing opportunity to host a roundtable in one of the masterminds I am in today. It was one of the most amazing hours I have had in the last few weeks. Seeing a group of likeminded people sharing with each other, nodding their heads at key concepts, and simply supporting each other.
